I would like to use the same to voki characters to have my students take a tour of the lesson. How can I keep them looking the same with out having to remake everything?
This is a good question. You do not want to have to recreate the avatar each time. Here is what I have found. Once you register, you can click the My Voki tab and get a list of your previous creations. They are available to edit. The program also appears to save previous recordings. I will say that my previous creations did not show up right away. There was a delay of several seconds before they appeared on the screen.
After you go to My Voki there are two tabs: Voki for My Site and About Me. It is on the Voki for My Site tab that previously published avatars with recordings will appear. Again there was a delay in appearance for me. I actually switched back and forth between the tabs and then the avatars appeared.

Hi shadele and rmorriss,
We agree that it would be useful to have a "copy" feature and we promise we're looking into it.
However, these is on (sneaky) way that you can copy your Vokis.
Simply use the "send to a friend" feature and send it to yourself!
When you get the email, click to view the Voki and then save it to your account.
You'll basically be saving a copy, which you can then edit.

Thanks for the email tip!
I just created my first Voki and was wondering how I could keep it as a "template" for future uses!
I am excited about exploring ways I can use Voki in my classes!
